What is ChelseaAI by ThinkMarkets?

ChelseaAI is ThinkMarkets' AI trading assistant. It is an MCP server that connects your ThinkTrader account to AI tools such as Claude, letting you check positions, place orders, and manage trades through conversation. It is a workflow interface, not a trading adviser or an automated system.

Is ChelseaAI safe to use with my trading account?

ChelseaAI uses scoped, revocable permissions. Fund movements are never exposed at any permission level. Every action is recorded in your audit log. Your account credentials are never shared with the AI assistant. Account custody remains with ThinkMarkets.

Can ChelseaAI place trades without me asking?

No. ChelseaAI acts only on your explicit instructions. It does not trade autonomously, run on a schedule, or respond to price movements without a prompt from you.

What is the difference between ChelseaAI and ThinkTrader?

ThinkTrader is ThinkMarkets' trading platform: charts, analysis, the full trading interface. ChelseaAI is a conversational layer that connects to your ThinkTrader account through an AI assistant. ChelseaAI talks to ThinkTrader on your behalf; it does not replace it.

Which AI assistants work with ChelseaAI?

Does ChelseaAI give investment advice?

No. ChelseaAI returns factual account data and executes your instructions. It does not analyse markets, recommend trades, or generate signals. Every investment decision is yours.

How much does ChelseaAI cost?

There is no additional charge from ThinkMarkets to use ChelseaAI on an eligible ThinkTrader account. Some AI assistants have their own subscription plans. Claude offers a free plan that works with ChelseaAI.

Can I use ChelseaAI on a demo account?

Yes. ChelseaAI is available on both demo and live ThinkTrader accounts. Starting on a demo account is recommended so you can test the full workflow without funded risk.
